Visit of the Association of lifting technology

On the 11th of September 2018 the Association of lifting equipment of Czech republic visited the STAHL training center operated by SLT components spol. s r.o. This was a planned meeting, which was carried out together with a tour of the production facilities of the company Nopo s.r.o. The members  of the Association heard a brief description of the activities provided by the company SLT. One of the main part of these activities is the supply of STAHL components. Because of this lifting devices are very widespread in almost all manufacturing plants in the Czech Republic, an interesting discussion related to these components, their maintenance and service has immediately arisen. In particular, questions regarding wearable spare parts, evaluation units and the lifetime of these hoists were long discussed with big interest by all stakeholders.

In addition to Stahl lifting technology, SLT also presented energy supply systems for cranes and another moving appliances. These were Hartmann motorized and spring reels, enclosed conductor bars Fels and energy chains made by the company ekd. The long experience of all of the participants were again a big benefit, and the discussion of the life of springs, collector shoes, brake plates and other technical issues sounded from every corner of the training center.
