Transmission Replacement

On March the 3rd, 2020, the planned replacement of the gearbox on the SHF5 series hoist, which works on the Nopo bridge crane at a renowned manufacturer of concrete elements, took place. The reason for the replacement was a small oil leakage on the output shaft. Although it is an older crane from the year 2015 working in the outdoor environment, we decided together with Stahl and the crane manufacturer to solve this small leakage by replacing the gearbox free of charge. The machine works for our long-term customer and even a small leakage can cause him great troubles if a drop of oil falls on the finished concrete product. The repair took place in difficult weather conditions exactly according to the planned schedule and without interrupting the production process.
