A portal crane with a load capacity of 5t and a span of 34.2m is used in ironworks for handling coils. The crane was put into operation in 1996 and now the electrical equipment has been renovated by the SAR company. The SLT company delivered new Stahl type SH 5025-20 2/1 L2 hoists. Lifting height 12m, lifting speed 1.6 / 10 m/min. Both hoists are equipped with a manual lifting brake release and an atypically mounted motor in a vertical position. Since the new hoists had different installation dimensions than the originally manufactured lifting mechanisms, the SLT delivery also included the mechanical documentation required for this reconstruction.
