An atypical spring cable reel is used to power the technological transfer car with a load capacity of 10 000 kg. To achieve the smallest possible installation dimensions, it is a monospiral spring drum. The outer diameter of the drum is 600 mm and for this application is used cable 4 x 6 mm2. The system is designed with end feeding and the travel length of the car is 10 m.
