International Engineering Fair 2017

The International Engineering Fair, the most important industrial fair in Central Europe, was held again on 9-13 October 2017. This year, over 1,500 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors took part in this highly watched event. More than a third of exhibitors came from abroad and all the key areas of the engineering and electrotechnical industry were introduced.

The company SLT successfully participated in this important event. Introducing STAHL wire rope hoist with new SHA drive control system on its boot, which allows for a low load to increase the lifting speed by up to 300%. This leads to significantly shorter lifting times and increasing of productivity.

In the field of winding drums, a motor driven reel produced by HARTMANN driven by a torque motor was introduced. This type of drive is the ideal choice for demanding applications in the metallurgy and mining industry.

In addition, visitors could see on the SLT boot a comprehensive program of EKD energy chains and innovative FELS enclosed conductor bars designed to power mobile devices.

Attention was also given to individually designed winches and crane cats designed for atypical applications of lifting devices where no standard hoist can be used.
