The festoon system P4 ( I-profile IPE100 ) is used to bring power to the crab of the overhead crane. The crane handles metallurgical semi-finished products in ironworks. The length of this festoon system is 15m and contains 23pc of flat PVC cables. The operation of this crane located in a rolling mill is characterized by a heavily dusty environment with vibrations and local thermal stress in the form of radiant heat.
